The Next President of the United States of America Has Been Elected

The citizens of the United States of America voted in record numbers yesterday, and they chose Barack Obama as the 44th president of the country. During his victory speech last night from Chicago, Senator Obama thanked his family, his vice president-elect Joe Biden, his campaign manager, and the people who came out to vote. He also congratulated Senator John McCain on his achievements during the presidential race.

President-elect Obama will be sworn into office on Inauguration Day, which is January 20, 2009.

    Remember when Hillary Clinton was running.I wanted her to win,after she lost the primarys she said she was now supporting Obama,which I think was nice,but i was sad Obama did not choose Hillary Clinton for vice president.I hope Hillary runs in the next election in 4 years.

    For all you misguided people who cheer goooooooo obama, or gooooooo mcain. Wow really? Even though the comments that you stated were in 2008-2009. I’ am stating this for 2010. Obama is an Obamonation, you know what that means? that is a bad sign. The question that i want to ask all the people that either, love him, cheer for him, or plain out hate him, is… what has he really done for our country so far. Can you answer that in a positive way? really what? make out taxes higher? help put us in more debt? criticize people who are actually trying to do something for our country? Just think about it long and hard… what-has-he-done? And don’t say oh, he supports our country very well.
