Earlier this month, two clouded leopard cubs were born at the National Zoo’s Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, Virginia. This is the first successful clouded leopard birth at the center in 16 years!

Clouded leopards are medium-sized cats that live in Southeast Asia. They are excellent climbers. Not very much is known about how they behave in the wild. Clouded leopards are not endangered, but they may become endangered in the future as they lose habitat to deforestation.
