What makes animals glow? Some of them, like jellyfishes and scorpions, glow under ultraviolet lights because of naturally occurring proteins or other materials. Other animals, such as monkeys or puppies, glow because scientists have added new proteins into their DNA. The glowing mice in the photo above received DNA with the glowing protein from their father.

I’m with chelly about one part, yes it is a little cruel, but how could it harm them? If anybody knows just send a coment. But i’m also with caitlovesanimals. It would be easier to find’em in your house. As much as I hate mice being in my house, I really really REALLY hate seing dead ones. Most of the time they die becuse they’re eaten by cats.Maybe if they glowed, it would freak cats out and they wouldn’t eat them.

Now you can see if your house is infested with mice. Just turn off the light!!!!

    To everyone:

Like it said in the article, you NEED ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT TO MAKE THEM GLOW!!! If you turn off the lights you wouldnt see a glowing mouse, your cat wouldn’t freak, and you probably wouldn’t even know you had mice! Well, that is unless you switched your regular lights to ultraviolet lights. But even then it be like a one-in-a-trillion type of thing, since practically all mice that get into your house are WILD mice.

Cute, but what is the point. Right, now, sadly my evil mind is scheming to think of ways i could prank my brother with the poor little mice. I mean, how else are the scientists going to use them? nothing as useful as what i need them 4…..
