All the fish caught in the nearly 300 streams tested by the United States Geological Survey were found to contain some level of mercury, according to a new USGS study. The wild-caught fish with the highest mercury levels are smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass. The lowest amounts were found in brown, rainbow-cutthroat trout, and channel catfish.

Most of the mercury is from coal-fired power plants.

That’s DISGUSTING!!! Look what people are doing to our planet! Now I don’t know if my Grandkids are ever gonna see a Polar Bear!!! Me and my friend are trying super-hard nnow to make our school “go green” We are writing a list and eventually we are going to speak to the assistant Principle or THE Principle.
It’s also very distressing about the oceans, the rivers, lakes, all the natural places are being destroyed. Go green and blue!
