Help for Japan’s Giant Salamander

Giant salamanders must swim upstream to lay their eggs, but navigating all the dams can make the trip nearly impossible. A new program helps the salamanders get around the dams while still protecting the cities in Japan from flooding during the monsoon season. Watch the video to find out how they do it.

WOW! WOW! WOW! That is one big Salamander! It is probably the same size as my little 9 year-old bro. I would take one as a pet, because I love gross slimy things, and am not afraid to touch anything! ( Even though I am a girl ) I love bugs and frogs and getting down and dirty!

Cheops, you are brave! I’m even scared of flies and butterflies…. But I love furry mammals! They’re cute and interesting!

I’m going to watch the video about the salamander now…

Gross! I cannot imagine how I or one of my neighbors would feel if they discovered that thing in their pond or pool. Luckily, we do not live in Japan…
