BOOK NAME: Flightsend
AUTHOR: Linda Newberry

House hunting first started when Charlie’s mum wanted to move away from all her past and have a new beginning. Charlie seemed to be satisfied with her life, but her mum (Kathy) wasn’t so impressed. For a while, Charlie and Kathy looked through every single house recommendation from the estate agency and compared prices, quality, and even went to see some, only to be left disappointed. After many discouraging visits to different houses Kathy and Charlie seemed to slow down on looking for a house… until Flightsend. A flyer for Flightsend came in the mail one morning and while Charlie was at school, Kathy went to see it and came back reporting perfection. Taking Charlie with her, Kathy went to see the little cabin in the country town once more; they moved there in a matter of a month.

Charlie didn’t know how much her life would change in that little cabin, but it did. Many people entered her life while others left. Charlie also learned the importance of her small family.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with the way this book ended. I wanted to take the last chapter and rewrite it. Other than that, I thought this was a great story. There are some heavier concepts discussed in the end of the book that were a little confusing to me because I can’t really relate to them. This is a book about a girl who lived like any other person in this world. It was realistic and believable – definitely a book I would read again someday.

Emelie I am so happy you were voted one of the three bloggers!!! I mean, you post all the time, and I love how you comment back to us. The plot for Flightsend looks a little slow, but I am going to the library tomorrow so I might as well look for it. If you like it hopefuly I will like it too.

Hey guys!!! I have already stated my veiw of Flightsend, but I have a tip for everyone. When you want a [Really!!!] popular book from the library and their a tons of holds on all you have to do is place a hold on a large word copy. Most likely, [in fact 100 percent sure] there will be less holds on it. If you are going to be reading past midnight then you might as well read a large word copy and rest your eyes so you can read later, then wait FOREVER!!!!! – escape2books :]

I agree,2white. but still, it might be a good book.I usually don’t read this kind of book though. For what ever reason, it reminds me of The Higher Power of Lucky. Though I’m sure it’s not as bad as that book

escape2books, thanks! I like to actually talk and respond to my readers! I like to comment on the other blogger’s reviews too. I hope you do get this book!

It’s not there?! Uh… I think we could panic. Wanna panic together? Okay, on 3. 1… 2… 3… AHHHH! NO!!! THIS CAN’T BE!!! MY LIFE IS OVER! (Let’s stop panicing now! :D )You could get it on Amazon…

2whitie, yeah. I lot of books are like that. A lot of authors just need to be more… creative in their plot ideas. Ya know? That is why my favorite book is “Dizzy” by Cathy Cassidy. If you’re into traveling, gypsies, but still like to know how the character’s feel read that book. I wrote a review on that for my contest entry. Yea, that was it. I’ll ask if I can post it for you to read. Cool-eo?

jindo2108, ya know. I might read that book to do a review on it. Then you can comment on it about what you thought about it. Cool?

P.S. I am writing a book review now on “the Book Theif”. Don’t tell anyone. Shhh… LOL. I am having a hard time on that one, but I’ll get it done. Then I have to finish my elephant research paper for school. URG! I meant, “Thank you God that you are allowing me to be blessed with work and an awesome website to write book reviews on!” There, I feel better. *wink, wink*
