    Well,here goes nothing!(if i suck,please dont be mean!)

    The golden sunshine
it spiraled out of the giant ball of burning gas
    into my cold,chilled bones
and warmed me up to a toasty temperature
    But soon,its heat was scorching
    my brain melted
i ran to the to the splashes out water
coming out of my shower head
    and eased the unbearable heat

    Another day:

I felt the icy winds kisses land,
    on my ivory skin
    Oh how the kisses pained!
    It turned me shivering
    towards my mum
    for a hug
that would hopefully warm me up
    For everyone knows:
a mother’s love can warm you up from anything

I know it sucks, but its my first attempt.

Hi,sometimes when you are a pastor’s wife people expect you to be perfect. This is my mothers day poem to my mom , a pastor’wife.

    I cannot play the piano,
    I probably never will,
I do not like to sing in public,
    I even mess up still,

I do not understand human nature,
I do not know why people lie,
I could not be a leader of ladies,
    Do not ask me why,

I could not be a hostess of a church,
    Going round and round,
I could not conduct the choir,
    Listening how people sound,

    I could not coordinate potlucks,
The leaders are nowhere to be seen,
    I could not give counseling,
    Bordering between nice and mean,

I could not be the perfect women,
    People expect you to be,
    You are my mother,
A human as we can see,

    Young Lady Spring

    Young Lady Spring,
    Flowers she will bring,
    The children at play,
Cats sleeping on the cool day,
    People at the pool,
    Hooray! No school,
    Young Lady Spring,
More spring as she will sing,
I looked outside and and saw her stand,
She was a band herself, a quiet band,
That is the last anyone saw of her,
But her powers are still here, thats for sure.

especially escape2books.your poem is both inspiring and truthful, and it really does reflect the life of one in real verses.VERy,VERY,VERY good.i hope someday i’ll reach a stage where i will be able to write as skilfully as you.

    @MasterLioness

Your peom makes me feel like there are many earthen mysteries floating in the air, waiting to be discovered.Light as it is,it makes you think deeply about such pleasantries and magic of Spring.

CherylByrel:D, my advice is to keep practicing. If you really love and believe in what you are writing your poem will most likey be even better, than if you were writing about something yo do not care about. I would pick a topic I really cared about and than just write and re-write. I sure it will come out great.I wrote that poem in the middle of the night. So you never know when inspiration will strike. :]
