BOOK NAME: Bunnicula
AUTHOR: Deborah and James Howe

I’m back with a book called Bunnicula. This is a series of books, so if you read this one, I think you’ll like the others.

It’s about this family that goes to the movie Dracula and they find this bunny in the movie theater. They take it home and they name it Bunnicula.

This story is mainly about this cat named Chester and a dog named Harold. Chester likes to read and Harold is pretty much just a dog – he likes to sleep.

Some strange stuff starts happening. At the house where Bunnicula lives, all of the vegetables start turning white. But nothing else…just the vegetables! Chester starts being suspicious (Harold…not so much). Chester reads a vampire book and Bunnicula matches every single thing about a vampire. Harold and Chester come up with a plan…

I’m not going to tell you the rest…because I want you to read it. This time, I’m going to do something different. If you’ve read the book, tell me who’s your favorite character and why. My favorite character is Harold the dog because he does all these flopsy things…he sneaks into the pantry and steals a chocolate cupcake (his favorite).

    WOW that book sounds soooooooo funny. I definetly want to read it. I like to read, and sometimes I can’t find any funny or cool looking books. thaks for recomending Bunnicula.

    I am glad you enjoyed this book. According to my beliefs this book doesn’t sound very good. It sounds more like a book of the wrong spirit. I hope everyone that reads it enoys it and their personality isn’t changed by it.

    I love books, i could read them all day!!!Bunnicula looks like such a kool book! I would also recommen the Mysterious benedict society books, and Isabel of the whales!

    I LOVE Bunnicula books! my fav cars are Bunnicula, and Chester. (the cat of course! lol) have u read the one were bunnicula meets edgar allen crow? it was realy good. to bad it’s realy hard to find the books were I’m at. oh well. – Warrior Cat Fan. ( I recamend you read the Warrior series. It’s about cats.)

    I’m reading all of them! And in fact, right now, I am reading “Bunnicula meets Edgar Alan Crow”! Howie, the pure-breed, wire-haired, dachshund pup, is my favorite character (read “Howliday Inn” to find out how they got him). Howie has great imagination, and Bunnicula is so cute! And Bunnicula is NOT dangerous, (even though Chester says so)!

    there was a play performed based on this book. the play it self was horribly directed nonetheless the script was nicely written

    I really like chester. He’s the sort that is funny without meaning to and would get mad if you told him so and I know bunniculla is inocent no matter what chester says.but I read it in 2nd grade so I might think it’s under my age if I read it again.

    let me tell you the rest……after that,chester ruins himself by misreading the text,and belives that you need to steack a rabbit,after you through water on it.thats right,or so the book says,but,chester takes the WRONG stacke,and then goes to his water bowl,runs at the bunny,and troughs the water on him,now the book says to get a wepon a steack him,but he gets a steack,the one you eat,and bags him on the head with it,the bunny DID get a small scatrch,but didnt die.later on,after the familly,called the morons,(dont make fun of it)talcks to,what they call him,”kitty”about how NOT to stap a rabbit,chester comes up with ANOUTHER plan(he wont let the bunny get away for nothing)by starving it.it wouldave worked,but harold,who STILL dosent belive that the bunny is a vampire,saves the rabbit by giving him a bowl of saled.then,the morons take the bunny to the vet,who puts him on a liquid diet.now the blender dose the suking for him.the probluem is salved,or so the pets think.but,youl have to get number 2 to find out what bunnicula is thinking.
