In chapters four through nine, Turtle spends more time with the Diaper Gang (and meets founding member Ira), gets a free ice cream by being sneaky, meets her grandmother for the first time, and gets a job on Slow Poke’s boat, where she helps fish for sponges.

The Diaper Gang (and Turtle) get to try a plate of bollos at Soldano’s. Bollos are Cuban fritters. Have you ever tried Cuban food?

The Diaper Gang has Key West spooked with their tick-tock prank! Do you believe in ghosts?

All the members of the Diaper Gang have to be good at taking care of babies (especially changing diapers). It sounds like hard work. What do you think is the hardest part of taking care of a baby?

Whoever said that this was a new book was right. Grrrr… new books are really expensive. The LEAST dogeared can do is provide us all electronic readers so we can buy the electric book for a lot less. No wonder the economy is falling.

i have just started this book and it is great there are some other books by the author that are also really good. one is called our only may amelia and there is a trilogy called boston jane ouur only may amelia is my favorite

You guys should request “Turtle in Paradise” at your local public library(or maybe a school library). That’s what I did.

I read this book in 2010. But I really, really think Turtle’s grandmother should have taken care of the Grand Piano in their living room.
