BOOK NAME: Andrew North Blows Up the World
AUTHOR: Adam Selzer

When I was in 3rd grade, I LOVED sneaking around my house and spying on my parents and brothers, but Andrew North takes spying to a new level. Andrew gets into spy gadgets, enemy spies, and a lot more in this book. At school, he loses his brother Jack’s spy gadget in Storage Room B without Jack knowing. The gadget looks kind of like a calculator and potentially could blow up the world. Storage Room B is a mysterious place at the school that Mr. Gormulka, a Russian spy who works at the school as a janitor, guards with his life.

The book is about how Andrew North gets back the spy gadget. You would have never guessed this is a spy book just by looking at the cover, or even reading the title. The cover makes it seem like an extremely boring book to me, but when I read it, it ended up being one of my favorites! My favorite part of the book is when Ryan, the class troublemaker, helps Andrew with his mission in the end. If you like spying and lots of excitement, you’ll love this book.

I don’t really like the title but I am curious about the fun spy stuff. I don’t think “boy books” have to be so rude. I like science : mostly physics and biology concepts. Thanks.

I think the cover makes it look like it would be like this book I read in school called Seedfolk, which is about a community garden bringing the people in a city together. I think this looks really cool, though.

That sounds like the coolest book!I might try to find it at my local library.I am probably just like you were when you were a kid. When me and my bro are bored and we have nothing to do we spy on the parents!i think it’s like kid philosophy.

hey jindo1208! I have a spy kit with things like an ID card and invisible ink pens and code cards and special paper and code containers.

But my 11 year old sister won’t play spy with me cause she says its “boring”.

and my 6 year old sister is to young to play it with cause she can’t even read!

and my 7 year old brother does almost nothing but read draw and watch movies and stuff.

Now i have no one to play it with and it was a huge waste in buying it.

I like the sound of this book! i dream of becoming a spy with cool gadgets and stuff!

Slyshadow- I know!!! Though I only have one, 14 year old brother,I sometimes can’t seem to find people who will play it with me. I have some friends though who, like me, love the idea of spies.
