Play Freerice to Feed the Hungry

After you’ve enjoyed your turkey and all the fixings this Thanksgiving, play a computer game to help the hungry around the world. Play Freerice, an online vocabulary game. For every correct answer, ten grains of rice will be donated to the World Food Programme. Play with your family and friends, and you can donate a whole bowl in no time!

Sixty-six million primary school-age children around the world go to school hungry every day. The World Food Programme provides meals to 22 million children at school. Since its launch in 2007, Freerice has earned enough rice to feed 4.2 million people for a day.

    freerice is a good way to help people by simply answering questions. If you’d like to help animals, go to freekibble and answer questions about both cats and dogs to donate kibble.

    my computer lab teacher told us (me and my class) about free rice two years ago in 3rd grade, and now i play free rice atleast twice a week!
    also Happy thanksgiving guys. take a minute to thank those who have helped us and pray for those who are going through tough times and are in need.

    I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now! I have, so far, donated 30,000+ grains of rice myself. I feel very proud! This is how I memorized every country in the world! Haha.

    we do that in my school.It’s only for 5th grade an up.I wondered why we can’t i’m in 2nd grade i’m awsome at math and questions i might do it at home!I guess there hard but I bet I can do it.:)

    I just started today and I have loved the game I got a lot of rice and I do freekibble it’s to give kibbble to dogs and cats like freerice but for dogs and cats!
