Favorite Series?

Here at DogEared, we love all books! We have a special place in our hearts for series books. When you finish a book, and you wish the story would just keep going, you get your wish with a series.

What’s your favorite book series? Do you plan to start a new series in 2011?

Ahhh!!!!!! Dogeared, I thought you knew!!!!!!!! Harry Potter is my favorite book series!!!!!!!!!!! (Harry Rules!)
But, I have a few others I like. Warriors by Erin Hunter is really good, but they just keep dragging the ending out!!!!!!!!!

i guess my favorite series would be Harrry Potter but i also like Artemis Fowl, The Last Dragon Chronicles,Percy Jackson, The Chronicles Of Narnia, The 39 Clues, Diary of a Wimpy kid, Alex Rider and Maximum Ride

I love the Warriors series, but I agree with you. I finished reading Night WHispers in November, and I didn’t quite get it….

I finished Night Whispers, and it was good, but confusing!!!!!!!!!!!
Never the less, I guess its got me hooked.
I’ve never heard of The Land of Elyon, though….

Ahhh!!!! I forgot all about Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Narnia! Those are great too!

momonono0-I’ve read the Alchemist (or however you spell it) too!!!!!! What do you think of it???? I thought it was pretty good, but a little confusing all the same…

Has anyone seen the new Narnia movie??? Is it any good??? I might see it soon……..if it is…….

Twilight because it’s not Harry Potter and my brother doesn’t drive me crazy about it. Anyway, they’re good books anyhow.

My favorite series are the Harry Potter series(AWESOME BOOKS) the hunger games, the diary of a wimpy kid series, the shredderman series, the percy jackson books, and all the rest would take HOURS to list

I love Warriors by Erin Hunter although the books seem to drag on and on forever, And Percy Jackson & the Olympians is excellent, but the best-ever book series is definitely the dark materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman. Phillip Pullman is my idol, and I am writing my own book because of him! My new years resolution was to read his trilogy once a year!

Alex Rider’s my (current) favorite. I also like Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, any series by Rick Riordan, Warriors, (Long Live ShadowClan!)Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Redwall series, not Twilight, and Inkheart series, to name a few.

OMG!!!!! Here’s a list of allof them:

4: Pride and Prejudice
5: The Penderwicks books
…just 2 name a few!
Also, if any1 has ever seen the movie Pride and Prejudice, the actual 1 not the TV 1, IT”S SOOOO good! I can play all of the piano music 4 it!

I agree with annabethchase61 there are a lot of good series out there. My 3 absolute favorites though are The Babysitters Club, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Little House on the Praire. My mom’s been listening to the Percy Jackson series in the car and that sounds good to.

Oh… I forgot MAZE RUNNER! Now that is good book. That book is one of my absolute favourites. I hugely recommended it to ages 10+ because it is a bit of a thriller, otherwise, it’s fantastic!

A book that ive wanted to read is this book is called secret. i think that thats the name of it but im not completley sure. i also think that someone else menchend that book. i hope to find a good sports or usic series because I LOVE SPORTS AND MUSIC! if anyone knows about a good series please tell me.

Hey! For anyone who immensely enjoys the Rick Roirdan worlds, another exceptionally written series is Gregor the Overlander. It is by Suzanne Collins (author of the Hunger Games) but is actually not very similar. This series was very pased and exciting(I just finished the five books in that series and it took me two school days!), however this does not apply if you have issues with cockroaches, rats, bats, or mice….yeh

P.S. ZoeNightshade12 I think that the Pride and Prejudice movie is brilliant!

My fave book serioes is CERTAINLY Pretty Little Liars. The only issue with it is that it gets confusing jumping from suspect to suspect. Also DON’T want the show because it doesn’t have the same story as the show
