Fudge-a-Mania

BOOK NAME: Fudge-a-Mania
AUTHOR:
Judy Blume

When Peter Hatcher and his family want to go on vacation, Peter does not expect it to be right next to his enemy, Sheila Tubman. Not only were their houses near each other, but when he got to Maine, Peter found out that their houses were CONNECTED! How would he survive living next to the entire Tubman family? His family was enough to have to deal with!

In Maine, Peter meets Mrs. A and Mitzi, who he later finds out are wife and daughter of Big Apfel (only the greatest baseball player ever)! Peter goes through many weird times, including the time where his little brother Fudge’s bird escapes, and he has to go find it. Fudge was so weird. So weird, that he even wished to marry Sheila! But at the end of the book, Sheila and Fudge don’t get married, someone else does!

I really liked this book. I think Judy Blume is a great author. She has a great sense of humor. My favorite character in the book was Mitzi. She doesn’t have such a big part in the storyline, but she’s just so cute! I wish I had a little sister just like her! I also liked the way Judy Blume portrays Fudge’s character. It’s such a typical five year old! I could think of many five year olds who are just like Fudge. Just as annoying, and just as crazy! Fudge-a-mania is a great book! All the characters are great!

I might try it. I’ve never read a Judy Blume book………..but I might now:). Thanks, Tamar!
Sembalion- Apes are actually very intellegent and have similar behavior patterns to us. Did you know some gorillas have actually learned and used sign language? (Koko and friends)But I guess it all really depends on what you believe in. I’m a Christian, and I still think we evolved from apes. But I kinda think no one can win on this, because it’s different for everyone.
Oh, and THE WARRIORS SERIES IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

jindo-yes,some apes ARE intelligent, but did ape invent skyscrapers?did they invent jack hammers?no.so,apes are intelligent, but not intelligent to be humans.and yes,it does matter what you belive in.i am muslim,(no!i am NOT a terrorist!!!islam does not teach that!they just do it because they dont understand our religon.)and muslims belive that god creadted humans and animals and plants……ect.

and also, warriors is not awsome.THEY ARE THE BEST SERRIS EVER!!AWSOME IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!

Sembalion- Yeah, apes haven’t invented those yet. I think, though, that we do not truly know how intelligent apes are yet, since so far nobody has found a true test for intelligence.
I don’t think that you’re a terrorist! I know, I think it’s stupid that some think all Muslims are terrorists……..

Yes……awesome is an understatement for Warriors. Can’t wait for new book to come out!!!!!!!!!

Jindo, and Sembalion, I think that this discussion should be dropped. You guys both believe strongly, and neither one of you seems like they are going to change your opinion. I am all for discussion, but talking about different religions, and how the world was created should be done face-to-face, not on a book blog.

Anyway I just wanted to through this fact out there; it is a known fact that chimps do cannibalism in the wild. This is why when they do horrible (graphic) things to their owners. (I still do not know why some people feel the need to own chimps!) Chimps may be intelligent to get food, survive, etc… but, they are not capable to feel emotions that humans do.

Tamar here. So funny, because the other day, I saw my friend reading “The Girl Who Could Fly”, and I asked her if it was interesting. Since you asked, today I asked her to borrow the book, and she said yes! So yes, I’ll review it.
