AUTHOR: Gary Paulsen

What’s up my readers? How are you all doing? I know I’m good. Today I get the honor to tell you about Gary Paulsen’s book, Liar, Liar. As you know, I love Gary Paulsen and this just adds to his long list of great books. I really enjoyed it and hope you enjoy this review.

This time, Paulsen came up with a great book for kids between ages 10 and 13. Liar, Liar is about a boy named Kevin who is great at telling lies and he uses his gift for bad things. It all started when Mr. Crosby assigned him a project. This project was to be done with assigned partners and Kevin got the worst partner, Katie. He didn’t want to work with her so he told her that he had some crazy disease and it would be mean to make her work with him.

In his mind, he is a really good liar. But what happens throughout the book is that his lies become bigger and bigger until he is in a very tough situation. All of a sudden he has made all of these lies to all of these different people and has a lot of explaining to do.

Most of his lying is because of this girl in his school named Tina, who he has a crush on. He makes up excuses and lies to get out of class so he can see her. And when he is finally with Tina it doesn’t look too good because of all of his lies that he told.

I think that if you liked Mudshark by Gary Paulsen then you will love Liar, Liar. They’re both great comedies.

    Maybe might be funny. I don’t know. Then again. I’m only seven. What? I’ve read Matilda! Anyway. Maybe funny. If at library, i’m only getting it there. I’m not paying so much money. I wish it was on TV! Can’t Disney put it into a movie that is sold everywhere for 0.50?

    Why can’t he just tell the truth and be honest? He doesn’t know what kind of guy girls like. His shirts ugly too! Then again i still would love to read but im not between the age! Who cares anyway? I don’t! :P I am not sure either if my mum would like the boyfriend/galfriend stuff………..? I still wouldn’t like the biz 2. My 15 yr old sis might like it though????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…………………..maybe.

    I really liked Paulsen’s book, “Lawn Boy”. I had to read it for a school contest, Battle of The Books”. My team won 2nd place. I can’t wait to read this one.

    Hmmm… although I am older than the suggested age group, this sounds like a cute little book I might enjoy!

    Hey, all those who are trying to get in the write path with Jesus Christ and God you should read this book by the same Dude who written this book it’s a book called Crazy Love it teaches you all about God and how to get right with God and I think everybody should read it because it really touches you with God’s holyness so, just saying.

    All you guys saying it sound boring did you read what he said about it Dude, Im begging my mom to buy it for me when I haven’t even read it! Dude, It sound frekin AMAZING like my hearts beating SO, fast because if I started reading it right now I would finish as fast as you can say liar,liar!!!! It sounds SO, intristing and man are my hands hurting typing this because im full of Exitment right now just thinking about it du! Im not even kidding oh,WOW Im so adickted to the ones who is explaining it the dude that you have good taste in books and I bet in music too!!!!     Gosh Im 9 now I was 8 when i posted my last comment i read the book and what happened to the girlfriend thing? Wow and When I was 8 I was wierd and kind of a creeper wow I Was so imature i did like the book though It was awkward in some ways But i really did love it!
