BOOK NAME: The Time-Traveling Fashionista

AUTHOR: Bianca Turetsky

What if a beautiful vintage dress could take you back in time?

Louise Lambert has always dreamed of movie starlets and exquisite gowns, and longs for the day when she can fill the closet of her normal suburban home with stylish treasures. But when she receives a mysterious invitation to a vintage fashion sale in the mail, her once painfully average life is magically transformed into a time-travel adventure.

Suddenly on board a luxurious cruise ship a hundred years ago, Louise relishes the glamour of this opulent age and slips into a life of secrets, drama, and decadence.

It looks interesting…sort of. The only thing so far I like about it is the history. (Where she is on a ship 100 years ago) I am addicted to history! Anyone with me?

I have a strange taste in both books and movies-most people can’t seem to find a relationship between them.

I read this book, because I’m really interested in true fashion, not just going along with whatever’s popular now, like baggy jeans and sweaters with much-too-long sleeves.

The pictures were really nice, and I also enjoyed the connection with the Titanic-I wish I could’ve sailed on a boat that luxurious! Though the hitting-an-iceberg part would’ve been a little dispiriting.

But what a great story I would have to tell if I survived!

I’d love to get a dress like that!

Dressing up is like showing your personality. It’s also like art!

I totally agree with TheLaughingPanda! I do my own my, and I don’t get into any fashion fad.

And I absolutely adore vintage! Vintage is my thing.

I really hope I can find this book in my local bookstore. If not, I’ll go to bigger bookstores!!!

I love the front cover like so much it is so pretty and IT can’t help but admire it for 10 sec.My favorite styles are vintige, funky, and lazy.If you don’t know about lazy style well it is like an areopostale sweatshirt that is red with some lime green jeens from old navy and some gray boots just simple clothing like that that is comfortable.Seems like a really good book I really want it. ;) . :)
