I think this was a really good book! I was passing by a shelf in a bookstore and it caught my eye from the dusty bottom shelf…

I bought it, and I think it’s a good story for anyone who likes myths-not just Greek or Roman or Egyptian mythology, but the short stories inside the book are blended with history, and reveals the richness of ancient China.

Also makes you realize how fortunate you are the the true meaning of happiness…

I love this book!I bought it at a book fair my school did.I love the art in the book.and the words almost paint a picture in you’r mind!

My assignment for school is to find a book similar to the book I read and comment on it. I read Horrible Harry Goes to the Moon by Suzy Kline. It is not completely like this book but there are some things that are the same. The character in this book is similar to Harry as they are both interested in the moon. While the character in this book finds magical friends, Harry creates one himself by becoming a space man.

I would recommend this book to a friend because it is about a kid pretending to go into space and landing on the moon. This book started out with the children in the classroom learning about space. They work together to buy a telescope to look at the moon that looked like a pumpkin pie. They were able to get the telescope by selling different snacks. Over fifty people came to see the pumpkin pie moon. I would have liked it if the author described the space suit more like a real one instead of a mechanic suit and bubble gum helmet.

This book reveals ancient Chinese children’s stories and has amzing illustrations. If you are looking for a book that includes dragons and the old man of the moon, I strongly recommend this book.
