Meteors Brought Gold to Earth?

Scientists studying rock samples have evidence that gold was delivered to Earth’s surface by meteors! The evidence indicates that about 3.9 billion years ago, a huge “firestorm” of meteors brought gold and other precious metals to the planet.

    I never knew that some of our important metals were brought to earth by simply meteors. I can understand how those scientists must feel, ‘wonderful’ to make such a wonderful discovery. Wow I would bet that the next post is going to be as good as this one.

    Wow, I did not know that meteors had gold and minerals. It is amazing that there are minerals in meteors, I wish that I could have found a meteor.

    Are scientists 100% certain that precious metals were brought to earth from space? If so then where did the metals come from and why did they come to earth why not Mars or Jupiter? And do the scientists have proof? Why or why not?
