I think that people should come to their senses that aluminium foil is recyclable. An estimated 80,000,000 Hershey’s Kisses are wrapped each day. The amount of aluminium foil used for this is absolutely overwhelming, enough to cover over 50 acres, an equivalent of 40 football fields. I feel that there should be a message sent around the world about the issues caused from this to avoid having the earth’s landfill size significantly increased. One other example is Easter egg wrapping. It is nearly Easter holidays and the amount of aluminium foil consumed this way and not recycled will change our world. Please recycle aluminium foil!
