BOOK NAME: I’d Tell You I Love You, but Then I’d Have to Kill You
AUTHOR: Ally Carter

If you like books with lots of action, adventure, and most of all, girl power, then
you will love, I’d Tell You I Love You but Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter.
This novel rolls spies, romance, and friendship all together to create a story about
young women who have some very surprising talents.

15 year old Cammie Morgan is a sophmore at the Gallagher Academy for
Exceptional Young Women. From the outside, the school appears to be a just
another snooty, private school for rich, stuck up girls, but if you dodge all of
the lasers, sneak past the armed guards and don’t get caught on any of the 50
security cameras that surround the campus, you will discover that the Gallagher
Academy is actually a school for spies. Instead of learning basics about cells and
atoms in science class, Cammie and her friends are taught the latest in chemical
warfare. Instead of just having to learn one language, they have to be fluent in
fourteen, and instead of doing dodge ball or capture the flag in P.E., they learn
how to kill a man seven different ways with their bare hands. However, when
Cammie meets an ordinary boy who doesn’t know she’s a spy, she has no idea
how to express her true feelings about him without revealing her secret identity.
Sure, she may be able to crack CIA codes, take out someone twice her size, and
save the world from ruthless dictators, but can she handle a relationship with a
normal guy who can never know who she really is?

I loved this book and would definitely recommend giving it a chance. It’s a really
fun read with lots of suspense and drama but also with humor as well. Although
some boys might like it, it’s aimed towards a female audience and I think girls will
probably enjoy it more. So, if you want a humorous read full of action, romance,
and espionage, then I’d Tell You I Love You but Then I’d Have to Kill You is
definitely for you.

…Not a favorite of mine. I felt this was wines toward a chick-fiction audience. I’m female, and I loved Alex Rider, but this series disappointed me. Honestly, every character there was a Mary-Sue. This needs to be classified as a romance, not action. I know it was unrealistic to, although as a lover of fantasy…but the SIS employ about 200 people, including janitors, clerks…everyone. Gallagher academy has more than that. More child agents that the SIS has..and counting all amounts of violence/action scenes, the recently reviewed Scorpia rising beat It out…by chapter five. Five chapters of one book beat out this entire Series….
Maybe I’m being a bit harsh. I was looking for another Alex Rider. I still didn’t like it, though, And her other series, HS had mr wanting an Artemis FowlOr Arsene Lupin/Kaitou Kid character. . I have nothing ahaist the review, it was well written, and formatted nicely, I just disagree. If you like the romance/action secrets, etc, try The Stravaganza series
    1. The city of masks
    2. City of Stars
    3. City of flowers
    3. City of secrets
    5. City of ships
    6. City of swords.
You seem that you would like it…not to be confused with the mortal instruments…IRS by Mary Hoffman. Happy reading!!
    3. City of flowers
    4. City of secrets
    5. City of ships

    3. City of flowers
    4. City of Secerts
    5. City of Ships
It’s not a well-known series, but you seem to be the type of person to like it
    6. City of Swords
    3. City of flowers
    4. C
    3. City

Like 2whitie said, this does sound too lovey-dovey for me. I never liked romance novels that much, and this doesn’t seem too far away from one. A super spy/assassin gets a boyfriend? Not my type. Excellent summary though, really appreciate it! :D

    Hi Isabel!

    This book sounds really great!

Could you do a review of the book “Cinderella Cleaners: Change of a Dress” by Maya Gold for me?

It’s about Diana Donato, your average thirteen year-old, who works at her family’s cleaners. Then, one day, Diana reaches into the pocket of a fancy coat–and finds an invitation to a glittering gala in New York City. since the coat’s owner is out of town, Diana gets a wild idea. with the help of some savvy friends, on glamorous dress, and a lot of improvising, Diana pretends to be someone else she’s not, and makes it to the party!

I really love how Diana expresses her feelings so deeply, that you can really get what’s inside her. Cinderella Cleaners is an awesome series that’ll keep you reading all day long!

    Hey guys!

There’s another book that I wish it had a review. It’s called Thea Stilton and the Mystery in Paris!!!

This is the fifth book in a series called Thea Stilton. The books are about five mouselets namely, Colette, Violet, Paulina, Nicky and Pamela. So far there are 11 books in the whole series.

The mouselets visit Paris for spring break (which happens to be Collete’s hometown) and meet Julie, Colette’s cousin. Julie is a student in a fashion-academy. Julie even gets to show her designs in a fashion show (along with the other students in the fashion academy) at the Eiffel Tower! But soon after the Thea Sisters (That’s what Colette, Violet, Paulina, Nicky and Pamela call themselves) arrive, Julie’s designs are stolen!

The book has cute pictures and some facts too! Most of the books in the Thea Stilton series are mysteries, this is why I love the books soooooo much! I hope this gets in a review!

    Marceline :)
