Meet the Olympic Mascots

Meet the mascots of the London 2012 Olympic Games! Wenlock and Mandeville are made of steel, and are said to be made from the last girder of the Olympic stadium! Wenlock is the mascot of the Olympic Games, and Mandeville is the mascot of the Paralympics. The mascots are both customizable. You can create your own Wenlock or Mandeville on their official website.

This summer’s Olympic games begin on July 27. The Paralympics begin on August 29. What events are you most excited to watch?

I love the Olympics!!!!!Now we’re in London, I wonder where there going to be next.Can’t wait to see it…..I’ll be watching on NBC.Go USA!!!!!!!!

Those mascots are so cute! My uncle, his wife and friend live in London so I don’t know if they will see it live! I was watching the Olympic Trials and they do some pretty neat stuff! I can’t wait to see the Olympics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww, the new Olympic mascots are so cute, but I prefered the Olympic mascots in 2008 though…

ooooo…. When I saw that picture I thought, “Aliens!! Or was it imitation aliens?!?” XDD

Anyway, it seems that big sports events are happening all the time! The 2010 big event was Vancouver and last year… er… I forgot maybe it was this year’s biggest Asian event was the SEA games! We’ve also just seen the European Cup! I mean… it seems to be coming so quickly! The Beijing olympics seems so yesterday to me… I mean, I remember watching a one-year countdown live from China in my aunt’s house! It seems like we’ve just had the last big sport event and…. here’s another one!!
