We’ve arrived in Great Falls, Montana! Fourteen of us want to share our first impressions of our trip. Dillian is on a late flight, so he will join us later tonight.

Mariah: It is very exciting to be in Montana and to meet everyone.

Jackson:
Today I flew over some amazing landscape…like huge circles of green grass in Kansas. After we landed in Great Falls, our tour of Montana started in the suburbs.

Jordan:
We visited the Charles Russell Museum for about an hour and we saw his famous paintings of elk, horses, moose, bison, as well as Native Americans and covered wagons. It was simply amazing!

Arabella:
I think Montana is gorgeous. The skies are crystal clear, with no pollution, and I am looking forward to seeing all the stars in the sky!

Edward:
When I was flying over Montana I noticed the beautiful rivers, mountains, canyons, lakes, and forests. It was amazing!

Amelia:
So far, Montana is going great! The native paintings in the museum are extremely fascinating and the tour guides are very helpful. I have only been in Montana for a day, but it is already my dream state.

Michael:
Montana is amazing (now I know why it’s called Big Sky Country!). The museum we visited today had amazing paintings.

Ellie:
High in the air, from the patchwork fields of wheat to the deepest valleys gouging through the land, what piqued my interest the most was the craggy Rocky Mountains jutting out of the golden plains.

Benjamin:
My first thought when I landed in Montana was how big everything was and how small I am! It was amazing flying over the diversity of landscapes, from high mountains to flat plains to low valleys.

Lena:
So far Montana has been amazing and I am really looking forward to all the activities planned for the coming week! I have learned so much already and have met many great people.

Caitlin:
Landing in Montana was the most exciting part of the day. In Montana, I met some great friends. They are all part of the HOEC team.

Emily:
After a long plane trip we finally arrived in marvelous Montana and looked through the amazing Charles Russell Museum.

Katherine:
Montana, here I am! I’m loving every minute of it!

Hannah:
This was my first flight ever! I’m excited to see what comes next.
