Photo: Ayat at SiqWe left early in the morning and met at a specific place and off we all went all the cars behind each other. It took about two hours to get there but it wasn't that bad. We arrived at the hotel we were all excited  we went into the lobby and I said hi to my friends who are: Suraya, Laila, Tala and Zinya. After we all got settled we headed out to explore Petra.

Places to See in Jordan

The holidays are coming up and many people travel during Christmas or other Jordanian celebrations like Eid.

Jordan is a great place to visit and explore. There are many different places that you can visit in Jordan!

Petra is one of them, and it is one of The New Seven Wonders of the World. It is also so beautiful. It takes about three hours to get there in the car from Amman. You can camp out there or go for a day to explore.

Aqaba is also one great place to visit. Many people go there because it is by the sea--the Red Sea to be precise! There are many pools and lots of different hotels that you can stay in. You can do all kinds of water sports and dive or snorkel. It takes about four hours to get there by car, or you can go by plane!

Photo: Overlooking the Dead SeaThe Dead Sea is another great place, with a beach and pools and hotels. The Dead Sea is one of the lowest points on earth and the sea itself is so salty you can actually float in the sea. There are so many different and exciting places sorry that I didn't mention them all!

Here is the city Jerash.

The coolest part about living in Jordan is that there are some places that are so beautiful, and there amazing hills, and Roman ruins, like Jerash. There is also the Dead Sea (the lowest point on earth), and Aqaba (our port at the Red Sea), where we have an incredible Coral Reef!
