The Playful Chef Cookbook

BOOK NAME: The Playful Chef Cookbook

Playful Chef Book Cover  The Playful Chef Cookbook is a book full of recipes on topics like deserts and meals, all the way through international holidays and pet treats. It was hard to decide what I was going to make first but I decided to make smoothies.

So we went to the grocery store and got the right supplies to make my drink: frozen strawberries, bananas, yogurt and orange juice.  After we put all of the ingredients together we started the mixing. I was very anxious to try my smoothie. Let's just say that I will never EVER become a smoothie maker at a store. I did not like the drink. It tasted way too sweet. But the best part was that I got the chance to try it and make it.

I strongly advise that all you chefs or future Food Channel stars get this book. In the beginning it shows you all of the basics about cooking and what each of the tools are. It talks about what you're going to need for each recipe that it will show you throughout the whole book. I would love it if you guys could try one of these recipes and when you do, you can type up a summary for everybody to see of what you made.

This sounds kinda good. I love to watch Good Eats on Food Network. I might just get it for pet treats! ;)

i might get this book. Its a pet peeve of mine to not read an interesting book

the smooeths sound good.

I've got a really good recipe. You should try it. Isabel's Holiday Hot Cocoa: Microwave one small cup of milk. Add some Swiss Miss hot chocolate powder. Stir with a candy cane. When done stirring, add cinnamon. Marshmallows, candy cane, and cinnamon optional. I recommend it with the marshmallows, candy cane, and cinnamon. After you drinks a sip of hot cocoa, take a lick of the candy cane. I like to use milk instead of water, because the water makes mw want to throw up. :P By the way, DarkWolfGirl, mine too. Happy Holidays! ps. you can enjoy the hot cocoa while enjoying a good book.

I love watching the Food Network too spock9. This book sounds great. And it's also a grand pet peeve of mine not to read an interesting book. HAVE ANY OF YOU READ TWILIGHT YET? Its the best. Well, aside from Harry Potter. I couldn't choose between them.

I have read the WHOLE Twilight series. I LOVED it! Have you seen the movie? It was alright. They added and took away a lot of stuff. Hey, have you watched Good Eats with Alton Brown on Food Network? He's my favorite and he's funny. I hpe you like my hot cocoa!

This book sounds wonderful, I am thinking about getting it, i love to cook and i believe this would be a good book for anyone.

I'm sort of nerdy, but strange as it sounds, I love to cook. I might make some hot cocoa in a minute! Bye!

HARTWI I so agree, Harry Potter is soooo much better than Twilight! I am not much of a chef but I love trying. I doubt my mom or dad will get it for me though!

Spock9, does your hot cooca taste like Dark Chocolate, I could die for dark chocolate! If you don't like dark chocolate, GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!!!

It sounds good

I apologise, but I think Dark Chocolate tastes bad. It's sort of bitter.

I can make really good cheesy scrambled eggs. So far, only I have eaten them, though. They taste really good.

Guess what? I get to make dinner tonight!!!! I'm making meatloaf and for dessert, brownies and/or ice cream. My mom loves meatloaf. My Aunt Nell makes some AMAZING meatloaf!! That's it for now. Bye!

I am learning to cook and L-O-V-E making just about anything with pasta in it...... especially macaroni and cheese....... here's how to make it!
1. put water in a pot
2.put it on the stove and turn on the oven
3. turn oven on HIGH
4. wait for a rapid boil
5. once boiling, fill pot halfway with pasta(the pasta expands as they cook)
6.wait 15 min.
7. put a colander in the sink
8. take the pot off the stove and pour the pasta in the colander, try to get it all in there!!!!!!!
9. wait 5 min.
10. take colander and pour pasta into a bowl
11. take shredded cheddar(Kraft brand is best) and pour on pasta
12. put in microwave for 1 min.
13. take out and put on a pinch of salt, be careful not to put on too much!!!!!
14 . enjoy!(you probably will anyway!)
