I love to write and I am working on two books of my own but I often get stuck. Any suggestions on what I should name my big giant villian that is suppossed to fight my very adventereous little hero? Thank you for replying also!!

You should make the main character, the good guy, Violet, and the villain Rose. You could make the title Dark Violet or Black Rose.

I think it would be awesome to write a book! I have a notebook full of short story's! I think a cool story idea would be about a town under a tree!

I just finished a true story about me being in the back of the car when somebody came in and stole my moms wallet. I think it would be so cool if kids got books published so that kids could read books by kids!

Yeah, I really want to write this story about a bunch of middle school kids and they are all really strange and nobody hangs with them. They have like powers, BUT NOT LIKE SPIDERMAN OR THE X-MENR SOMETHING COMICY! They have like minds powers and stuff and sometimes they act up. It's really cool! I just have NO idea how to format it on paper! YIKES! Any tips, hints, commets, or tricks PlEASE SAY somthing below with my user name in it.

I really want to write a book of my own too, 'cos it gives me a sense of accomplishment, but I always get stuck in the conclusion. Any advice?

Wow haimay1998 your book sounds really cool When i write I get a piece of paper and write down names things places ect that i want to use then i organize them into ideas for chapters. hope this helps

I love to write fantasy stories. One day I might try to get something published, but first I need to finish them! My story is about a witch, a shapeshifter, and a werewolf who have to save a dragon's egg from an evil sorceress.

I'm also writing a story called Rising Storm about a girl who is an elf princess (but doesn't know it), a sorceress who is trying to kidnap her, and a boy who can control weather. My goal is to get a book written and published before I'm 18.

I'm also a girl thats writing my own book! It's called Black Sunset. Its about a boy who is learning to control fire by his true love Veris Black (hence the username). He has to defeat an evil queen with his friends before the sunset on a lunar eclipse, or the world itself with collapse under the power that is released.
I'm also writing another book and this one is in the present. It's called In Their Hands. Its about 4 people with superpowers including mind moving, fire (I like fire!), Force fields, invisibility, speed, mind reading, ice and strength (They each have 2 powers) If you could plz reply and tell me what you think I would be so happy!

I have some ideas for the book i want to write. I thought about writing it, like about a year or something ago, but my teacher forced me to write this year.. I have to finish it at the end of my next clas, but i still don't know wich story to pick out..
I don't know,if I should pick one about mythology and that stuf (mythology creatures for my book: vampires, werewolves and ghosts) or one with a girl, who helps her best friends to say no to drugs, and falls in love with the most popular boy on the school... well, both ideas are stupid, but my head is empty, so i can't get any other ideas..
but i still have to choose the place for the hapening. i thought about somwhere in usa, and i'm from slovenia so i don't know many places there.. can someone please help me with that?? thanks.
by the way, i'm going to check if stardust is in our library and if it is, i'm going to read it..

im totally going 2 be a writer!! i m writing a few now. youll have to wait till it is published to hear about my favorite though,but i'll tell u this: it involves magic, mystery and mayhem!! :) another one is about a girl and her friend that gets lost in the amazon rainforest and have to work together to survive. what do u think about a story where a kid gets lost in an imaginary world?? im also thinking about writing a story of my life, except using different names 4 me my friends and family. have any other "story starters" 4 me??? I am writing a short story that is called the islander. It is about a man from France named Pierre who loves to sail and goes out to sail and gets caught in a storm and lands on an island and makes a log cabin. then goes to anouther island and found a little boy whose name is Alexander whose parents died in a battle against some other people. Alexander tells the man what the name of the two islands are, Nagasaki and little Nagasaki. Alexander is not very sure about Pierre because he looks exactly like the men his family fought against and lost. What else do you think should happen next?

girltlk12, this author came to my school a couple of years ago and and told us how to sometimes write a book. First you think about what type of story you want to write about, either a mystery, a fairy tale, wahtever yuo want. Then he said that a lot of times he would just spin around, while closing his eyes, and then open them. Whatever he saw he would write about.

I am writing a book and I plan to write a couple novels. I am 11 years old. I want to write a new york times bestseller. in the book I am writing, the main character is a boy named oliver; he travels with a band of gypsies and trains with the camp's fire eater. the story starts when his camp is burned down and his teacher and friends killed. he takes off through the country to find the evil king who did it. i need a name for the king and a motive for it. the king is also supposed to be a professional fire eater. I need ideas. I'm only on page 12 or so, and I know i have a long way to go. The book is called Oliver the Fire Dancer.

I chose Bovar as the name for the king. I still need a reason though. maybe he thought they would rebel or something

I really want to write a book but now that I've seen the ideas you guys have, I'm embarrased to share mine.

My book is about two friends who have powers.
they both can be animals. one is a wolf, the other, a mountain lion. One of team is Fern. She is very smart, especially when it comes to animals. She is also too brave for her own good.
the other is Griffin. He isn't really that smart...academically..... but he can out smart his foster parents any day. i wrote it for school, so it isn't that good....

I love to type! I started in first grade!! My story is called Prince. It's about a cat who is spoiled rotten. Their name is Prince. When Prince's owner dies, he's sent to the animal shelter and makes friends with the animals. When he finds out when you stay too long at an animal shelter, you get killed. Prince wants to find a way to let all pets free and find a home. Will he do that? This story is about love, sadness, silly times, and times that make you MAD!

I've stayed up for over 12 hours writing b4. So I need a name for my second book it is about a girl that has powers but doesn't know it. But she figures out when she turns 13. BUT THE POWERS AREN'T LIKE SHOOTING LASERS OR SOMETHING!!!! It is seeing things or whatever you want to call it. It's like reading minds and seeing ghosts and angels and demons. Okay. The book I'm writing right now is called "Waterfall". The three main characters are Alexndrea, an eleven year old girl who collects pebbles, Ian, a sixteen year old boy who doesn't care very much for Alexandrea, and Jamie, Ian's twin sister who's always being polite and absolutly has to see her boyfriend, Gabe, every day of her life. This story I'm writing is ery different from my other storys because it's a very sad one. It's not very funny at all. "Waterfall" takes place in a stream in Alexandrea's backyard. This leads to the plot, so listen carefully. Alexandrea collects pebbles from the stream in her backyard. One day she finds a very unique purple pebble and decides to keep it. Her grandparents are coming for Thanksgiving si Alexandrea decides to clean up her messy room. She gets so tired of it, she wishes that her family could hire a maid to clean up for a change. Just then, the doorbell rings and it's a maid. So Alexandrea decides to test the pebble to see if it's magic and it is! Don't go, this is the good part. Alexandrea tells Ian that the pebble is magic and he doesn't believe her. Alexandrea tries to convince him that it's real, but he still doesn't listen so they get into this silly arguement. Then Alexandrea accedently wishes that Ian was very very sick and would never get better! So Ian got really sick and alexandrea couldn't find the pebble anywhere. I think you would want to keep readig my book because it's very emotional and very magical and there's so many very impertant events that take you through to the end. I may be only 9, but if you ask my friends, they'll say I'm a great author. (I don't mean to brag or anything like that)

The title of my book is Cars Cars Cars. The main characters are named David and Sam. My story is funny because David and Sam do a lot of crazy things. The reader will not learn something from this because it's just funny and adenturus. The setting is mostly at a car rcing track or David and Sam's house. My story is mostly about how really expensive cars appear in David and Sam's driveway every day. Such as Lamboghinis. The problem in my story is that David and Sam can't figure out how the cars are getting there. Hope you have fun reading my book!

I just wrote a new story about a parrot who is sold to a king. The parrot saves the king's life three times, each time asking for a new cage that is more beautiful then the last. The last cage he asks for is made out of the queen's jewels and gold. The queen gets really angry and kills the king and takes the parrot and the cage and throw them in the sea. What do you think about it?
