Denim Galore!

A team of committed folks has been folding and counting all the denim you sent in for the Guinness World Record attempt to collect the largest amount of clothing for recycling. And let me just say, we have a lot of denim. The count to date is... 29,317!!!!

We are flabbergasted. We will continue to count, but please don't send in any more denim. June 30 was the deadline! Once we have everything folded and counted, then we will call in the big boys at Guinness to give us the official count.

Stay tuned!

Oh no! I'm overjoyed that you have so many but theonly problem is a few friends and I have been collecting jeans... now its too late to send them in. I suppose we could give them to the needy but some are ripped and torn. What can we do with them now? If we send them to you can you still use them... though we know it wouldn't be a part of the world record. We have a few plans at a later date example when school starts that we have already organized to campaing then. Doing this is super important to my group, we are planning on using it to show our care for the enviorment at meetings when we ask for favors example when we got bylaws passed on places in the south shore or quebec in canada (where we live).
All we really need to know is if we can send them in? Can't you still use them? Won't this organization be a continued thing. Or was this only to get the world record and it would only be a one time thing?! I thought this was something that you would keep doing... i hope i wasn't wrong. If so i supposed we will just have to find something else to do with these jeans...

Sincerely,
Concerned tree huggers,
Ashley and friends
