The suspense of the results is already killing me.

I'm confident and pumped!
i hope i win cause if i don't I'll wail!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like this:wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I was to late to try for a chance to win D=. I'll be trying out next year though!!!
Oh my gosh, it's killing me! I saw this at the bottom of the page and felt my heart go crazy. I turned my form in just in time, thankfully.
It would be a great Valentines day and Birthday present for me if I get a call. I will be 9.
Hi Everyone!
Luckstomper here. I haven't been on in a while. Even though I can't enter anymore, I still like to keep up with everything that goes on, like cowgirlexplorer. I enjoy seeing all the new entrants because it reminds me of when this blog was my life. Every day for a while I would come on and just write away. Hahaha. And I'm sure if some of the bloggers that I conversed with saw this they'd smile and say the same.
As I looked at the blog post prior to this one, I noticed a bunch of people saying reasons for why they should be the winners. But in the end remember it's going to be genuinity that wins it for the 15. Your essay had to come from the heart and the picture had to be a nice sum up of it. I can wait until the announce the winners! Good luck to all!

I am new on this blog, I do hope that the winner is fair and square and has not cheated, though.I Want to see the results quickly, cause you have a exciting shock feeling when you think about it.(I have not entered the contest though).
When and what is the next contest. I was too late this time bt what about next time?
Dear National Geographic, 2/23/12
Can one of the contest be building something to help clean up the ocean, because if it is I have an Idea. Also, I love nature and animals but some kids in my class made fun of the manatees in a show we were watching. Can you help?

cowgirlexplorer and Luckstomper, I'm very sorry. I think they should of extended the age limit again this year. It was nice to extend it last year and give the 14 year olds a chance, but the rest of us still lost that year and we didn't get to make it up. Please everybody, stay blogging. Last year leading up to the trip, reading all of your comments was the highlight of my day. I really hope Nat Geo will extend the age limit again for the sake of all us who lost that year and me, because I think I can win next year IF I get a chance to enter. Later everyone!
hi
Hello Everyone! I agree with Luckstomper, i remeber when i used to check this blog every day, but i still like to check it every once in a while and see all the new people who comment here. I cant wait til they announce the winners. I am considering writing a letter to the people who are in charge of organizing the HOEC contest, and see if it is at all possible for the team this year to take a detour to my part of Montana. I was thinking it would be cool because alot of the kids that would be going on this expedition probably dont get a chance to pet a cow or bottle feed a baby lamb, or ride horses or anything like that, so i think it would be cool.
Any opinions?
Celeste
Cowgirlexplorer, that would be a great idea. I think Nat Geo should do it, but they probably already have the whole trip planned out.
OOOH! That would be cool Cowgirlexplorer but that wuldn't be fair for some other people.
Hey everyone, the trip sounds cool.
yea cowgirlexplorer that would b cool. but i agree with skimp, they probably have the whole trip planned out, looking at the other trips. cool, u live in montana. u ride horses? i do
hey everyone, uh how often do u guys check this?
Ecochika: yes, i ride horses, and i love it! I just came home from school actually and went out and rode my horse Lucy. It has been so sunny and beautiful here lately.
