Photograph by Gerald Herbert/APThis morning, President Barack Obama welcomed kids across the country back to school. He stressed the importance of getting an education in his remarks, saying "...no matter what you want to do with your life - I guarantee that you'll need an education to do it." He also challenged students to take charge of their own educations by setting goals for themselves and working hard to achieve them.
Was today your first day of school? Did you set new goals for this school year?

i thought the obama speech was alwsome it is good how he is encourageing other student to stay in school rock out obama
I agree to what he says about staying in school even though it may be tough sometimes.
I think it was cool of Mr.Obama to encourge schools.
i think that obama really spread the word of education
I think Obama's message to schoolkids across America was very important and I know that I'm finishing school because I realize now how important a good education is. I hope there are others who feel the same way.
Okay all of you. Listen up! It's not the government's responsibility to encourage students to study, it's the students. He is violating about 3 ammendments to the Constitution right here!!!
