Help for Japan's Giant Salamander

Giant salamanders must swim upstream to lay their eggs, but navigating all the dams can make the trip nearly impossible. A new program helps the salamanders get around the dams while still protecting the cities in Japan from flooding during the monsoon season. Watch the video to find out how they do it.

wow! the size of that thing was taller then me!let alone the weight! if i ever go to japan i am sure to go visit one.

WOW! WOW! WOW! That is one big Salamander! It is probably the same size as my little 9 year-old bro. I would take one as a pet, because I love gross slimy things, and am not afraid to touch anything! ( Even though I am a girl ) I love bugs and frogs and getting down and dirty!

Cheops, you are brave! I'm even scared of flies and butterflies.... But I love furry mammals! They're cute and interesting!

I'm going to watch the video about the salamander now...

Whew! That was A BIG salamander!!

Look at that size!

Wow, that is pretty big for a salamander! And I like gross slimy things like bugs and frogs, too, Cheops911!

Gross! I cannot imagine how I or one of my neighbors would feel if they discovered that thing in their pond or pool. Luckily, we do not live in Japan...

That salamander is huge!!! I wonder if I go to Japan, I'll see one.If they aren't extinct.Huge!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it is pretty gross. but it was still cool!

It's cute and scary at the same time! :)
