Emily Blunt stars as Princess Mary in 20th Century Fox’s Gulliver’s Travels. Shipwrecked travel writer Lemuel Gulliver (played by Jack Black) finds himself transported to the hidden island of Liliput, where he towers over Princess Mary and the other tiny citizens.
Have you ever wondered what’s it like to work with Jack Black? Or how they made Gulliver look like a giant and the Liliputians look so small? Where’s the strangest place Emily Blunt has ever traveled while filming a movie?
Well, now’s your chance to find out! Send us your questions about Emily’s experience filming Gulliver’s Travels or questions about her experiences traveling around the world. Just leave a comment with your question on this post BEFORE 5:00 ET today (12/9), and we’ll send 10 questions submitted by NG KIDS fans for Emily to answer!

Be Part of an Upcoming Book
The Weird But True book is a big hit–so big that it’s being made into a book series! One upcoming Weird But True book will be the first book to ever include facts submitted by NG Kids readers.
Do you have a weird, wacky fact you’d like to see in the new book? Check out the April issue of National Geographic Kids magazine to get the details and find out how to submit your fact.
Don’t enter your fact in the comments! You’ll need to follow
these steps:
1. Find a weird, wacky fact that has not appeared in NG Kids
magazine. Your fact must be true in order to be published.
2. On the same page as your fact, include the following:
-Your name
-Your age and date of birth
-Address with zip code
-Phone number
-Name of a parent or guardian
3. Attach at least two reliable sources for your fact, such as printouts from websites or copies of pages from books, newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, or other sources. Please include the name of the publication, page number, and date of publication or copyright date.
4. You may submit more than one fact, but please include a separate cover sheet for each fact and attach all the source information for the fact to the fact itself.

NG Kids Sets a Guinness World Record

National Geographic Kids set the world record today for the largest collection of denim clothing to recycle. The final count, verified by Stuart Claxton for Guinness World Records, is an astounding 33,088 pieces of denim clothing! Erek H., a NG Kids reader from Ohio, collected 1,684 pairs of jeans for the project. He had the honor of putting the final pair of jeans into the display…jeans that once belonged to Ben Stiller! The actor donated one of his pairs of jeans at the beginning of the jeans drive.
Visit the Green Scene blog to find out more about the record attempt.
