I have been weaving for about three years--since I was 11.

In the video, I am making a new blouse for my traje, which is the traditional suit that all the girls and ladies in my town wear here.
It takes me about three months to complete a weaving like this. I am getting close to finishing it!
Do you like it?
Here are some answers to your questions.
I don't have internet access or a computer at home and it's not very common in my town. So I don't go on the internet very often and it costs money when I do! When I go online, I like to play games!
An American who lives in my town has been reading me your comments. She translates them from English into Spanish for me and prints out the pages from the Web site. I like to see the pictures of my family.
I am so happy that you are all reading this. I feel like I have friends all over the world!
About the Worry Dolls. They are called Quita Pena in Spanish. I don't have any of them and they aren't traditional in my town. But my mom said that kids in another part of Guatemala called Solola have them. Kids tell the dolls their worries at night and put them under their pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries so they are all gone!

Keli that is really neat!!!! I learned how to weave baskets last summer. When I was 13. I think it would be cool how to weave cloth.
Please keep blogging.
Elizabeth :)

Dear Keli,
What is your favorite food? We like pink. What colors do you like? My teacher's name is Mrs. Sankal. What is your teacher's name? We read that you like Latin music. What song do you like?
We have chores, too. Yaire helps take care of her little brother and Maria picks up papers and books. What are your friends' names?
