Two officers were our trainers. They first taught us the basics about safety, and then we had training sessions teaching us "abseiling" (or rappelling) down walls. Then they took us to the theater. It was hard work and I was really scared at first, but they helped me get rid of my fears easily. This is how they made us go down: Sukayna and I were both wearing harnesses and we were attached to a rope. There are of course bars at the top above the stage where we were standing, and the trainers had tied the ropes in a specific way, and we stood on the bars let go and slowly, slowly, they let us down.
Watch the video of me going down!
The play was a great success, my whole grade worked so hard rehearsing for about 6 weeks, it was tiring but we really enjoyed it. Watch a video of the play. It's all in Arabic!
I got a great surprise at the end the last night, when our trainers presented Sukayna and I with official certificates from the head of the 71st (Anti Terrorist ) Unit to certify that we had completed the abseiling course given in the Jordanian Armed Forces!!

thats is pretty cool that you and your friends were in a play. Were you nervous? Was the play rehearsed to look like your friend was the bad angel and you were the good angel? What was the play called? Were all of your friends in it? I would love to hear more about your play.
Your Friend,

I think that you trying to make your own play was pretty cool. I bet you I couldn't even try to begin making an acting scene into a play in my classroom! You are really cool. Are you going to become a director?Do you like your drama class?
I liked the story a lot! It must have been a great surprise to get that award! I would have been scared too about coming down from ropes on top of the wall!
